Anna Princeva
In summer 2023, soprano Anna Princeva made her acclaimed role debut as Madama Butterfly at the Bregenz Festival, followed by a triumph at the Berlin State Opera in 2024. In 2025/26, she brings her Butterfly to Frankfurt and Stuttgart.
The 2024/25 season saw two major debuts: Eva in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg (Bonn Opera) and Norma (Flemish Opera Antwerp), followed by her return to Covent Garden as Liù in Turandot. She sings Alice Ford in Falstaff at the Glyndebourne Festival in summer 2025.
At Covent Garden, she previously appeared as Mimì (La Bohème, 2021 & 2022) and Nedda (Pagliacci, 2023), also sung at the Hamburg State Opera, where she debuted as Alice Ford.
Other highlights include Hélène (Les vêpres siciliennes, Rome), Musetta and Nedda (Sydney), Elisabetta (Don Carlo, Bonn), and her award-nominated Elsa in Lohengrin — a role that earned her a FAUST Prize nomination.
